On Thursday, July 18th from 5-7PM, we will open a hive, inspect for mites, and then discuss in the classroom varroa and other honey bee maladies. Classes are capped at 10 students to ensure you have the attention necessary for hands-on learning.

For the classroom portion of the session, we will go over several of the most common honey bee maladies found in Upstate New York. We will learn how to identify said maladies and how to treat the problem in real time.

Please bring your honey bee protective gear. Hive tools and smokers will be provided for class use by Kutik’s.
