We will discuss what to consider before opening a hive, and we will go over what to look for once you’re inside the hive. We will learn how to assess a hive and how to take notes for your record keeping. This hands-on class will be capped at 10 people to ensure our students receive ample one-on-one attention. This class is appropriate for beginning and intermediate beekeepers.

Class cost is $20

Please bring your own honey bee protective gear. Hive tools and smokers will be provided for the duration of course.
