Within this class we will examine how mite loads build within your hive, and we will schedule our mite checks for the upcoming 2021 season. Beyond scheduling checks, we will create a list of appropriate treatments for the given time of year, mite load and temperature.

For the second half of the class we will discuss Spring maintenance, making splits, and how to best install new queens.

This class is currently limited to five people to ensure adequate space, as well as one-on-one attention to each student’s questions. Reservations are required.
