Understanding what your bees need to winter successfully is one of the key components to keeping honey bees alive through the winter months. This class will cover:

• Understanding how bees prepare for winter

• Knowing when to feed

• Assessing your hive for winter (Weight, Bees, Mites)

• Choosing a Mite Treatment(s) 

• Considering Hive Body Treatments and moisture.

Class cost is $45, and class is limited to five people to ensure adequate spacing for each student, as well as one-on-one attention. Reservations will be set once payment for the class is received.
